Patrol Leader Training
Patrol Leaders are the key to a successful Boy Scout troop. They lead their patrols in all activities and represent their patrol at Patrol Leaders' Council meetings.
Training Opportunities
Troop 31 provides comprehensive training for all Patrol Leaders, including:
- Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST)
- National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT)
- In-troop leadership mentoring
- Regular Patrol Leaders' Council meetings
Responsibilities
As a Patrol Leader, you will:
- Plan and lead patrol meetings and activities
- Represent your patrol at PLC meetings
- Work with the Senior Patrol Leader to coordinate troop activities
- Mentor younger Scouts in your patrol
- Help your patrol work together as a team
